A nice ride around the Dyfi Enduro route with Dave, Myles, Jon, John, Mark, James, Matt, Stu, Paul, Pete and David.

We started started off from the ClimachX car park and took in the first climb, then the traditional first descent and then out over the field. It was all pretty dry so quite easy going. The we went down the very rocky descent on the first section of the Baileys bridge descent. Unfortunately James took went over-the-bars on the first resulting in broken glasses and cuts to bridge of nose and chin, grazes to cheeks and a very rapid swelling in the corner of his eye. He was pretty shaken too. After cleaning him up and getting him back on his feet, Dave walked him down the rest of the descent and thenhe rode the latter two sections of Bailey Bridge. We then left James on the roadside as John, mark and David had gone back to pick up James' car. John and Mark drove James as far as Llangurig and David re-joined us at the feed station.

I'm sure James appreciates all the help, although at times I'm sure he wishes there weren't quite so many people fussing over him!

The rest of the ride was pretty uneventful apart from a several punctures. It took in almost all the Dyfi Enduro course. It's fairly tough, but good fun, some long fire road climbs, a very tough rocky climb and of course some lovely descents.. Its going to be carnage on sonme of those with 700 people doing them!

Once back to the ClimachX we finished off the top of the ClimachX Trail down Elephant and then over to the Builth descnt which was once again riding really well. A quick blast along the rode and back up the little climb to the cars to end a good days riding. By now I think everyone had just about cycled far enough!
